My Ancestors Heard What You Said
Poem
My Ancestors heard what you said.
You thought you could whisper in corners, cut me with you cowardice, twist my name in your mouth, like it wasn't sacred.
But the wind carried your words to the stars.
And the stars told the moon.
And the moon told me.
I felt it.
In my gut.
In my chest.
In that quiet ache, only truth brings.
You see - my intuition don't lie.
I walk with Spirit in both ears.
My dreams decode secrets.
My silence shakes foundation.
So when you smiled in my face, and your energy didn't match your eyes, I knew.
I knew before you spoke.
Because Earth Angels don't need proof, just presence.
My Ancestors heard you - when you whispered poison into the dark.
When you dressed your jealousy as concern.
Your bitterness as "just being honest."
When you tried to gather others in your storm, thinking you could drown me in the flood of your projection.
But baaaaby.
I DON'T SINK.
I bloom in the rain.
You should have known better than to speak ill of someone sent to heal.
To throw dirt on a name kissed by the Creator.
To curse a soul chosen to soften this world.
You think words vanish?
That gossip is harmless?
That energy doesn't echo?
But every syllable you spoke, ripples through the cosmos...and the Universe?
Oh, the Universe takes note.
She tallies truth.
She multiplies karma.
She protects her messengers.
I am not alone in this body.
I am carried.
Watched.
Held by a thousand grandmothers, who saw you coming before I was even born.
They walk beside me.
Barefoot in the spirit realm.
Drumming the rhythm of justice.
So let me be clear.
Your words have weight.
And you will feel them when they return to you, laced in the very pain you wished on me, because I am the Earth Angel you tried to undo.
But you didn't realize,
you cannot curse what is covered.
You cannot ruin what is rooted.
And you cannot outtalk what walks with the Divine.
So, speak if you must.
Whisper in the shadows.
Plot if you like.
But understand,
My Ancestors heard what you said.
And the Universe?
She is already answering.
